On display at the Bottle Tree Ranch are countless colorful bottles arrayed on “trees”, intermixed with Route 66 artifacts.
Some of the bottles are old and dusty, while others are newly added, as the “forest” continues to grow.
After completed our Route 66 Adventure from Chicago, Illinois to Santa Monica Pier, California, we continued “kicking” on Lincoln Highway. This blog is still about T-bird on Route 66 but we hope you will enjoy photos of the Mustang on Lincoln Highway and our annual road trips (Westward Adventures).
Our Annual July road trip totaling 5,150 miles in 12 days, included visits to 6 States: Hays, Kansas - Denver, Colorado – Rock Springs, Wyoming - Wendover, Utah – Tonopah, Nevada – in California, we visited Mamoth Lakes, Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks – and celebrated Independence Day watching fireworks lit-up the sky over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. We drove along Big Sur, visited President Ronald Reagan Library, saw the majestic beauty of Arches National Park and Monument Valley, a quick stop to see the Bypass Bridge at Hoover Dam, and back to St. Louis, Missouri.
In July 2011, we started our Lincoln Highway Adventure covering Eastern Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. In September 2011, we drove 3,838 miles in 9 days covering Western Iowa, Nebraska (Chimney Rock), South Dakota (Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monuments, Sturgis), Montana (Little Bighorn Battlefield, Yellowstone National Park), Wyoming (Devils Tower), Utah, Colorado and Kansas.
