After completed our Route 66 Adventure from Chicago, Illinois to Santa Monica Pier, California, we continued “kicking” on Lincoln Highway. This blog is still about T-bird on Route 66 but we hope you will enjoy photos of the Mustang on Lincoln Highway and our annual road trips (Westward Adventures).

OUR LADY OF THE HIGHWAYS - WAGGONER
The Carrara Marble Statue of Our Lady of Lourdes from Italy is inscribed "Mary, Loving Mother of Jesus. Protect us on the Highway." Our Lady of the Highway shrine was erected in 1959 and was placed here to give travelers a chance to pray for a safe trip. A series of signs along a nearby fence recite the "Hail Mary".
